John Vineyard

John Vineyard,64 of Poplar Bluff  passed away Wednesday, September 15, 2010 in Poplar Bluff.  A private memorial service will be held at a later date.

Mr. Vineyard was born Sept. 17, 1945 at Poplar Bluff.  He formerly lived in Williamsville, Mo. and was a member of the Wayne County Eagles.

He was retired and enjoyed fishing.

Surviving are one son, Craig Vineyard of St. Louis, Mo.; a stepson Todd Kelley; and a stepdaughter, Katrina Gaines; two sisters, Virgina Summer of Williamsville and Glenda Kirby of Poplar Bluff; five grandchildren, Nathan Vineyard, Christian Vineyard, Joseph Gaines, Natalie Vineyard and Christinia Vineyard.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John D. Vineyard and Verna Vineyard.

Mary Lou Tucker

Mary Lou Tucker, 62 of Naylor, Missouri, passed away at her residence September 12, 2010. Her visitation will be held Wednesday September 15, 2010 at the Fowler-Sullivan Memorial Chapel in Neelyville, Missouri After 6:00 p.m. Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. September 16, 2010 in Fowler-Sullivan Memorial Chapel in Neelyville. Burial will be in the Naylor Memorial Cemetery following the service. Rev. Darrell Armstrong will be officiating assisted by Rev Donnie Fowler

Mary was born December14 1947 at St. Louis Missouri, to Earl T. Gore and Minerva M. Cunningham White. On August 8, 1991 She was married to James Otis Tucker. He Survives. Also surviving, two Sons, Harold Bryeans and Joey Bryeans both of Oxly, Missouri and one daughter, Lisa Winder of Naylor, Missouri one step daughter, Jami Tucker of Pierrie S. Dakota. Two sisters also survive. Nancy Carlton of Doniphan, Missouri and Wanda Elder of Naylor, Missouri. One brother Bob Carlton of Naylor, Missouri. She is preceded in death by her parents as well as three brothers, Earl “Chic” White, Mark White, and Charles Gore. She enjoyed camping, fishing, baking, and cooking and she enjoyed the outdoors. She was a member of the Bible Way Tabernacle of Doniphan, Missouri.

Bradley Hodge

Bradley Keith Hodge, 16, passed away, Tuesday, Sept. 7, 2010.  Visitation will be after 6 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 9, 2010 and funeral service at 2 p.m. Friday, Sept. 10, 2010 at the Palace of Praise Church, 1400 Herschel Bess Blvd. Poplar Bluff.

Bradley was born June 17, 1994 in Poplar Bluff to parents Michael and Gina Hodge.  He was a Junior at Poplar Bluff High School.  He enjoyed running, reading, camping and loved the military.  He was a member of the Palace of Praise  in  Poplar  Bluff.

Survivors include his parents; brothers Dillon Hodge, Colyn Hodge, Tucker Hodge, Jordan Hodge and one sister Addyson Hodge of the home.

Also surviving are his grandparents Jerry and Nancy Summers, Poplar Bluff, Dale and Rose Hodge, Lowendale, Mo., Ray and Shelia Hobson, Greenwood, Miss. ; great -grandparents, Ogden and Lucille Wheelis of  Poplar Bluff.

The services will be officiated by Pastor Josh Reasons and burial in Memorial Gardens, Poplar Bluff.

A memorial fund is set up at the First Midwest Bank in Poplar Bluff.

Thelma Louise McGowen

Thelma Louise McGowen, 72 of Naylor, Missouri passed away September 7, 2010 at the Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center in Poplar Bluff, Missouri.visitation will be on Wed. Sept. 8, 2010 from 11:00 am. with a graveside service following at 1:30 p.m. in  Hill Cemetery.

Mrs. McGowen was born January 28, 1938 in Clay County, Arkansas to Herman Goodman And Lola Mae Alexander Goodman. On December 25, 1990 She was married to Robert Lee “Bob” McGowen, He survives. also surviving are, Five son, Jim Stout, Richard Stout, Timothy Stout, Wade Stout, and Joey Stout, as well as one daughter Kimberly Steward. she is also survived by 17 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.three Sisters, Peggy Davis, Sue Nations, Linda Brewer and one brother, Gene Goodman also survive. she was a member of Calvary Baptist church in Corning, Arkansas she enjoyed animals,flowers, yard work and gardening.

Gregg Robbins

Greg Robbins, 53 of Poplar Bluff passed away Friday, Sept. 3, 2010 at the Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center.

Mr. Robbins was born July 21, 1957, at Lilbourn, Mo.  A former resident of Ellsinore, Mo., he worked as a general contractor for home construction.  He enjoyed playing darts, reading and art.

Survivors include his parents, D.W. Dooley of Lilbourn and Mildred Robbins of Ellsinore; two sisters, Barbra Muse of Van Buren, Mo., and Angela Kearbey of Poplar Bluff; and one brother, Rick Dooley of Ellsinore.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
