Panzy Averhart Landreth

Panzy Averhart Landreth, 69 of Naylor, Missouri, passed away at her residence September 11, 2011.  She was born April 3, 1942 at Bay, Arkansas to the late Joe Bill Averhart and Ollie Thomas Averhart.  On December 24, 1982  at Naylor, Missouri she was married to Ernie D. Landreth. He survivies. Also surviving are One daughter Connie Hawks of Albertville, Alabama and step children, Greg Landreth of Paragould, Arkansas and Kelly Landreth of Corning, Arkansas. Sisters, Chris Young of Naylor, Mo,  Mary Durrant  of Washington, State,  Brenda Lepold of Naylor, Mo.,  Sarah Schinnerer and Debbie Averhart both of Gulf Port, Mississippi. Two  brothers J.W. Averhart of Naylor, Mo. and Billy Joe Averhart of Long Beach, Mississippi. One step Grandson Ryan Landreth.

She was preceded in death by her parents as well as one brother Gene Averhart.  Panzy was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary at the Naylor American Legion Post 643. Memorial visitation for Panzy will begin at 6:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. September 14, 2011 in the Fowler-Sullivan Memorial Chapel at Neelyville, Missouri with a Memorial Service beginning at 7:00 P.M. .

Martha Allison Blagg

Martha Allison Blagg, 74 ,of Poplar Bluff, Missouri passed away September 9, 2011 in the Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center. She was born January 1, 1937 in Boston, Mass. to the late Albert Peter Kawal and Almyra Wilcox Kawal.  On January 27, 1961 at San Diego, California she was married to Walter Clay Blagg. He preceded her in death on February 19, 1999.

Martha is survived by Her children, Kale Blagg of Poplar Bluff, Mo. and Almyra Torres of Olney, Texas. Grandchildren,Angel Torres Amanda “Pistol” Thomas and Heaven Leigh Thomas.

She was a school teacher, and had taught in the Neelyville School System where she retired after 19 years. She was a member of MSTA and a member of the retired teacher association of Missouri. She was a life time member of the J.A. Ashby VFW Post 3485 Auxiliary in Doniphan as well as American Legion Brown-Mabry Post 153 Auxiliary in Poplar Bluff, Missouri. She was a member of the Holy Cross Episcopal Church in Poplar Bluff, Missouri. Visitation for Mrs Blagg will begin at 6:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Tuesday Night September 13, 2011 at the Fowler-Sullivan Memorial Chapel in Neelyville, Missouri. Funeral will be Wednesday September 14, at 1:00 p.m. in the Fowler-Sullivan Memorial Chapel with burial following services in the Kinsey Cemetery near Harviell, Missouri. Donnie Fowler Officiating.

Clyde Miller Garner

Clyde Miller Garner, 79 formerly of Naylor passed away in the Westwood Hills Health Care Center at Poplar Bluff, Missouri September 10, 2011. He was born September 3, 1932 in McNary county, Tennessee to the late Oscar Garner and Annie Mae Green Garner.  On April 16, 1955 at Corinth, Mississippi He was married to Geneva Crumbly. She preceded him in death on July 29, 2011.

He is survived by, His children Clem Garner of Poplar Bluff, Mo., Donnie Garner of Boonville, Miss., Tim Garner of Naylor, Mo. and Shawn Garner of Naylor as well as one daughter Vicki Smith of Naylor, Mo. Clyde also has fifteen grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren surviving. He was preceded in death  by his wife, parents, as well as a daughter, Debbie McConnaughay. One sisiter Demetra Loggins and one brother David Garner.

Clyde enjoyed gardening, being with family and watching westerns. He had worked as a truck driver for Blackman Oil Company and Watson Oil.  Visitation for Mr. Garner will Tuesday September 13, 2011 starting at 11:30 a.m. with the funeral following at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday. burial will be in the Naylor Memorial Cemetery following services at the Fowler-Sullivan Memorial Chapel in Neelyville, Missouri.
