Brandon Scott Ezzell

Brandon Scott Ezzell,  25 of Corning, Arkansas passed away May 8, 2012 near Neelyville, Missouri. He was born March 20, 1987 at Belleville, Illinois to Paul “Rusty” Ezzell and Dawn Langley Tutor.

He is survived by his parents as well a two sons; Colin Scott Ezzell and Chase Ryan Ezzell both of Red Bud, Illinois, Two sisters, Lainey Singleton of Tilden, Illinois and Hannah Tutor of Corning, Arkansas and one brother, Andrew Langley of Corning, Arkansas. His grandparents, Kathy Green of Waterloo, Ill., Donald Langley of Mansfield, Georgia and Robyn Pollock of  St. Louis, Missouri.

Brandon enjoyed being with his friends and had worked for Ahert Farms.

Memorial visitation for Brandon will be Saturday May 19, 2012 at 12:00 p.m. with the memorial service starting at 1:00 p.m. at the Fowler-Sullivan Memorial Chapel in Neelyville, Missouri.

Jerry Randolph Briney

Jerry Randolph Briney, 69 of Harviell, Missouri, passed away April 20, 2012 at the Westwood Hills Healthcare of Poplar Bluff, Missouri. He was born March 14, 1943 to the late John w. Briney and Sybil Wallace at Pocahontas, Arkansas.

On January 31, 1962, at Paragould, Arkansas, He was married to Brenda J. Hanner. She survives.

Also surviving are ; Two children, Tammy Boyer and fiance John Winberry of Harvielll, Mo. and Michael Briney and wife  Shauna of Harviell, Mo. as well as three sisters, Linda Hammer, Judy Woods and Shelby Cobert and three brothers, Donnie Briney, Jimmy Briney, and Teddy Briney all of Corning, Arkansas.Three grandchildren Natalie and husband Marcus Spradling, Jerra and Husband Seth Phillips and Dylan Boyer as well as one great grandchild Madison also survive.

Jerry was preceded in death by his parents as well as two brothers Junior Briney and Jesse Briney.

Jerry enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening and the cloud nine Ranoll and enjoyed going to dog races. He was a member of the Calvary Community Church of Poplar Bluff, Missouri. and was a Farmer.

visitation  for Mr. Briney will be Monday April 23, 2012 in the Fowler-Sullivan Memorial Chapel at Neelyville, Missouri. Services will follow at 2:00 p.m. at the chapel in Neelyville, Mo. Burial will be in the Kinsey Cemetery with Shelvie Stephens officiating.

Coy Lee Jackson, 61, of Wappapello, died Wednesday, May 9, 2012 at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center.  A graveside service will be held Friday, May 11, 2012 at the Missouri State Veteran’s Cemetery in Bloomfield, with Ron Fowler officiating. 

Mr. Jackson was born December 12, 1950 in Cairo, IL  He was of the baptist faith.  He was a member of the VFW Post 3416 in Wappapello.  Had served in the US Navy during Vietnam War.  He was retired from Army Corps of Engineers.  He liked caring for animals, meat shoots and being with family and friends. 

On April 11, 2005 he married Louise Karnes Jackson in Gatlinburg, TN She survives.  Also surviving are children; Lisa Schreckenburg of Lepold, MO; Stephen Jackson of Jackson, MO, Michael Karnes of Bourbonnais, IL,  Kenneth Karnes of Benton, IL and Nathaniel Karnes of Benton, IL   A sister; Lana Neal of Illinois and seven grandchildren.

Ralph Lee  Robertson, 63, of Poplar Bluff, passed away Thursday May 3, 2012 at Landmark Hospital in Cape Girardeau, MO.  Visitation will be Sunday, May 6, 2012 6-8PM at Fowler-Sullivan Funeral Home, 844 Cedar St  Poplar Bluff, MO.  Funeral Services will be Monday, May 7, 2012 10AM in the funeral home chapel with the  Ronnie and Donnie Fowler officiating.

Ralph was born November 5, 1948 in Poplar Bluff, MO.  He was retired from Brown and Williamson Tobacco Company and was currently working with his father at Berlin Robertson Auto Sales.  He enjoyed spending time with his six grandsons and ballgames.

He is survived by three children; Brenda Brown and husband Rodney of Poplar Bluff; David Sechrest of West Plains, Mo; and Berlin Robertson and wife Amy of Poplar Bluff., his father Berlin Robertson and Mother Louise Jones-Robertson of Poplar Bluff; 6 grandsons; Tyler Davidson, Parker Davidson, Zach Brown, Bailey Davidson, Blake Robertson and Brady Robertson all of Poplar Bluff.
