Francis Reeves

Francis Reeves, 56, of Neelyville, Mo. passed away December 11, 2012 at the Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center. She was born September 24, 1956 at Neelyville, Mo. to the late John Suder and Ruby Leona Dollins Suder.

On December 23, 1978, at Oxly, Mo., she was married to Johnny Reeves.  He prceeded  her in death on November 16, 2006.

She is survived by two sisters, Jean Little of Doniphan, Missouri and Sharon K. Yandell of Neelyville, Mo., as well as several nieces and nephews.

She was preceeded in death by her husband, her parents, as well as four sisters, Norman Purdom Barks, Ruth Sprous and Mary Lou Stephens  Joann Robertson; two brothers, Herman Hutcherson and Billy Hutcherson.

She enjoyed making necklaces, beading,watching movies, and being on the river.

Visitation for Mrs Reeves will be December 14, 2012 starting at 11:00 am with the funeral following at 12:30 p.m.. at the Fowler-Sullivan Memorial Chapel.  The burial will be in the Roberts Cemetery near Neelyville, Mo..

Tommy Lee Brownlee

Tommy Lee Brownlee, 49, of Neelyville, Missouri, passed away December 10, 2012, in Poplar Bluff, Mo. He was born December 16, 1962 at Mark Tree, Arkansas to Shirley Brownlee.

On September 8, 2012 at Neelyville, Mo., he was married to Audrey Diane Berry. She survives.

Also surviving are his  children, Tammy Berry, Jaunice Berry and Kim all of St. Louis, Mo.; his brother, Daryl Brownlee of S.Louis, Mo; twelve grandchildren and five great- grandchildren.

Tommy was a member of Agape House of Worship  in Neelyville, Missouri  and enjoyed playing cards, (Spades).

There is no service planned at this time. Fowler-Sullivan Memorial Chapel of Neelyville is in charge of arrangements

John Quincy Adams

John Quincy Adams, 61, of Naylor, Mo. passed away December 6, 2012 in the University Hospital at Columbia, Mo.  He was born November 17, 1951 at Flint, Michigan, to John Quincy Adams and the late Sarah Louise (Hughes) Adams.

John is survived by two children, John Victor Adams of Hallsville, Missouri and Theresa Marie Felton of Seoul, South Korea.  His father John Quincy Adams, and three brothers, Richard Adams of Sikeston, Missouri, Robert Adams of Poplar Bluff, Mo. and Jimmy Adams of Naylor, Mo.  He is also survived by three grandchildren, Joel Michael Adams, Charles Frederick and Robyn Frederick all of Hallsville, Missouri.

John was carpenter and had a degree in architectural drafting and design. He enjoyed trapping, camping, and politics. He was a member of the Centralia Missouri Masonic Lodge and Three Rivers Shine Club.  John was also a member of the Fellowship General Baptist Church of Poplar Bluff, Mo.

Visitation for Mr. Adams will be Saturday December 15, 2012 starting at 10:00 a.m. with the funeral following at 12:00 p.m. in the Fellowship General Baptist Church in Poplar Bluff, Mo. with Pastor Byron Beck officiating.

Roma Lee (West) Warren

Roma Lee Warren, 74 of Neelyville, Mo. passed away December 6, 2012 at her residence. She was born August 5, 1938 in Neelyville to the late Aurthur J. West and Sina (Myers) West.

On April 25, 1953 in Pocahontas, Arkansas, she was married to Rowland Warren. He preceded her in death on August 17, 2003.

She was an active member of the Naylor Missionary Baptist Church. She was a housewife and a missionary ministers wife.  Her home was always open and caring, her manner was always loving and all who knew her came away wiser for the experience.

Mrs Warren is survived by her children, Wanda Reed and husband, Chuck, Nancy Lane (widowed husband Roy), Sue Barton and husband, Richard, Norma Powell and husband, Reggie,Wayne Warren and wife, Lorrie and Eunice Asberry and husband Tim; two sisters, Norma Turner and Emma Brooks;  four brothers, Bobby West, Bill West, Melvin West, and Marvin West.; nineteen grandchildren and  twenty- three great- grandchildren  and eight great- great- grandchildren also survive.

She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, one grandchild, Heather and one brother, Leon West.

Visitation for  Mrs. Warren will be Sunday December 9, 2012 starting at 1:00 p.m. with the funeral following at 3:00 p.m. in the Fowler-Sullivan Memorial Chapel of Neelyville, Mo.  Burial will be in the Williams Cemetery near Corning, Arkansas with Bro. Dale Blount, Bro. James Mills and Bro. Randy Hart officiating.

Mary F. “Rauker” Lepold

Mary Francis Lepold, 93, of Naylor, Missouri, passed away December 5, 2012 in the Mark Twain Caring Center of Poplar Bluff, Missouri. She was born January 16, 1919 in Illinois to the late Joe Rauker and Josie Stinick Rauker.

On may 16, 1942 at Poplar Bluff, Missouri she was married to Tony Lepold. He preceded her in death on July 24, 1992.

Mary is survived by her children; Jim Lepold and wife Theresa of Naylor, Mo., Bob Lepold and wife Brenda of Naylor, Mo. Betty Tharp and husband Butch of Naylor, Mo., Kathy Spradlin and husband Steve of Rockford, Ill., and Mary Ann Hollenberg and husband Hank of Arnold, Missouri. Twelve grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren also survive.

She was a homemaker and a farmers wife and enjoyed flowers, gardening, cooking, quilting as well as her children and grandchildren and helping people.

She was a member of the sacred Heart Catholic church in Poplar Bluff, Missouri. she was preceded in death by her husband, parents, one  granddaughter, Misty (Tharp) Vance, three sisters,Vera Becker, Josie Dobnikar and Millie Lepold as well as two brothers, Joe Rauker and Bogamill Ruaker.

Visitation will be Saturday December 8, 2012 at 11:00 am with the funeral following at 1:00 p.m., in the Fowler-Sullivan Memorial Chapel of Neelyville, Mo.. Burial will be in the Gum Cemetery. In Lie of flowers family requests be made to Naylor Senior Citzens or your favorite Charity.

George Slayton

George Slayton, age 69, of Poplar Bluff, Mo., passed away Sunday December 2, 2012, at The Manor in Poplar Bluff.

Mr. Slayton was born May 28, 1943 at Oxly, Mo. to Ralph Slayton and Irene (Walker) Slayton.  He was an over the road truck driver.

He is survived by his wife, Mary (Wyrick) Slayton and one daughter, Mary Pietrofere of Poplar Bluff.

Frankie Dale Rigdon

Frankie Dale Rigdon, 61, of Poplar Bluff, Missouri, passed away November 30, 2012, at his residence.  He was born June 15, 1951 at Poplar Bluff, Mo. to Euwin Rigdon and Billie Jean McKay.

He is survived by two sons, Frankie Eugene Rigdon of Poplar Bluff, Mo and Mark Lynn Rigdon and wife,  Angie of Naylor, Mo.; one daughter, Billie Jean Douglas and husband, Julius of Poplar Bluff, Mo.; one sister, Mary Lou Blissenbach, of Pocahontas, Ark. and one brother, Phil Rigdon of Corning, Arkansas; 11 grandchildren,  Timmy Lee Stallings, Taylor Marie Stallings, Brittany Nichole Corder, Steve Allen Corder Jr., Darcacie Rehan Rigdon, Genah Diane Rigdon, Frankie Roman Eudale Rigdon, Owen James Rigdon, Marcus Blake Rigdon Chelsa Rigdon, and Matthew Austin Rigdon.

On March 17, 1972, at Naylor, Missouri, he was married to Alice Webster. She preceded him in death on June 4, 2005.

He was a member of the Mt Calvary Power House Church of Poplar Bluff, Missouri. He had formaly lived in Naylor, where he had served on the Naylor City Council  and as Alderman. He was a first responder for the Naylor Fire Department and had done volunteer work for the Naylor community. He had served in the United States Army during the Vietnam Era.

He enjoyed fishing, lawn care, playing pool and hunting. He also enjoyed coaching his children and grandchildren in softball and little league.

Visitation for Frank will be Monday December 3, 2012, starting at 11:00 am, with the funeral following at 1:00 pm in the Fowler-Sullivan Memorial Chapel in Neelyville, Mo. Bishop Ron Webb will be officiating with the burial in the Naylor Memorial Cemetery following service.
