Tiyana Dawn McCain

Tiyana Dawn McCain, 33, of Neelyville, died Tuesday, February3, 2014 at her home. Tiyana was born February 12, 1980 to Joyce Anderson and Marshall Johnson.

She graduated from Poplar Bluff High School in 1998 and later received a Dietician certificate from Pocahontas, Arkansas.

Tiyana was an in-home aide  for several years until she became disabled in 2012. She was a member of Loving Jesus Ministries Church. She had a very strong faith and love for the Lord. Sheenjoyed cooking And Spending time with her famly and friends.

Tiyana was proceeded in death by her soulmate, Gregory Harris on Novmber 13, 2013. She is survivied by her parents, the father that raised her, Wardell Webb, her brother, Brian Webb, nephew, Braxton Webb, step-father, Clarence Anderson Jr., step brothers Clarence Anderson III, Jerome Anderson and his wife Christine, as well as a host of family member and friends.

Arrrangements are with the Fowler-Sullivan Memorial Chapel in Neelyville, Mo. Visitation will be Saturday at 11:00 with the funeral to follow at 12:00 p.m.. Memorial can be made to the Fowler-Sullivan Memorial Chapel in Neelyville, Mo.

The Family of Tiyana would like to thank you for your prayer and support during this time.

Joshua Anderson

Joshua Aaron Anderson, 26, of Poplar Bluff, Mo, passed away Tuesday, February 4, 2014. 

Joshua was born January 25, 1988 in Paragould, Ar. He worked construction and heavy equipment repair.  He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping and spending time with family. 

Survivors include his parents, Timmy and Mary (Ogden) Anderson; his fiance, Brittany Jarrel; one sister, Crystal Jackson and brother, Jeffrey Loyd; his grandmother, Anna Hale; two nephews,  JJ Wilburn, Jordan Loyd; three nieces, Paula Jackson, Kristin Jackson, and Allison Martin.

Joshua was preceded in death by his grandparents, Harold and Nancy Ogden, and Andrew Anderson.

Visitiation will be held Sunday February 9,2014, at Fowler-Sullivan Funeral Home in Poplar Bluff being at 6 pm. Funeral services will be held on Monday February 10,2014 at 2 pm in the funeral home chapel,  with Billy Herren officiating,  burial will follow in the City cemetery.

Nikki Iden

Nikki Iden, 66, of Poplar Bluff, Mo., passed away January 28, 2014 at the Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center. 

Ms. Iden was born April 10. 1947 at Boise, Idaho. 

No services are planned at this time.

Earnest Raymond Reece

Earnest Raymond Reece, 88, of Poplar Bluff Mo., passed away Saturday, February 1, 2014 at the John J. Pershing VA Medical Center in Poplar Bluff. 

Mr. Reece was born on June 6, 1925 in Atkins Arkansas.  He enjoyed fishing, hunting, playing his guitar, and dancing.  He was of the Baptist faith and a life-time member of the D.A.V.  He was a veteran, having served in the United States Army.

In 1986 he married  Eathel (Dixon) Reece.  She survives.

Also surviving are his children, Jimmy Reece and wife, Sue, Raymond Reece and wife, Sharon, Ricky Reece and wife, Tina, and Darlene Hower and husband, Chuck; daughter-in-law, Diane Reece; four sisters, Ruth Catlett, Wanda Arevalo, Jo Eaton and Ann Dotson-Garrison; two brothers, Gerald Reece and James Reece, as well as several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Mr. Reece was preceded in death by his parents, Lee  and Roxada Reece; a son Buddy Reece; a daughter and son- in-law, Fay Brown, and her husband, Arnold; three sisters, Dorothy Sledge, Wilma Moore, Lois Robertson;and one brother, George Reece.

Visitation will be held 11 a.m.Thursday, February 6, 2014 at Fowler-Sullivan Funeral Home in Poplar Bluff, followed by funeral services at 1 pm., in the funeral home chapel. Chaplain Bill Hatch Jr. will officiate.  Burial will be the Kinsey Cemetery near Harviell Mo.

Sandra Ann Bishop

Sandra Ann Bishop, 68, of  Poplar Bluff, Mo., passed away Saturday, February 1, 2014, in  the Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center. 

Mrs. Bishop was born April 24, 1945 in Piggott, Arkansas. She enjoyed playing bingo, going to church and being with her family. She was a member of the Abundant Life Christian Center in Poplar Bluff. She was also a veteran having served in the United States Army.

On June 28, 1993 she married Horace Douglas Bishop Jr.  He preceded her in death on May 22, 2008.  Also preceding her in death was a son, Anthony Bishop, as well as her parents, Robert Doyle Dover and Verna Ottie (Brady) Smith.

Survivors include her children, Crystal Wood, Shane Bishop, Christopher Bishop, Michelle Campbell, and Mary Bishop; 15 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will begin at 6 p.m.  Tuesday, February 4, 2014 at Fowler-Sullivan Funeral Home in Poplar Bluff.  Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, February 5, 2014, in the funeral home chapel, with Pastor David Thomas officiating.  Burial will follow in the Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Poplar Bluff.
