Pamela Jean Klein

Pamela Jean Klein, 73, of Poplar Bluff, Missouri, passed away May 1, 2017 at her residence. She was born April 16, 1944 at St.Louis, Missouri to the late Etzel Simmons and Margarett Shoulders Simmons.

She is survived by her children; William F. Sullivan Jr. OF Eureka, Missouri, David John Sullivan of St. Peters, Missouri and Susan Meyer of Brosley, Missouri. one step brother; James Harvie Shoulders Jr. of Piedmont, Missouri.  Seven grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren also survive.

Kenneth Lee Bruce

Kenneth Lee Bruce, 71, of Doniphan, Missouri, passed away May 1, 2017 at his residence. He was born October 31,1945 at Naylor, Missouri to the late Robert Bruce and Lela Moore Bruce.

On June 7, 1964, he was married to Brenda Kinnard. She preceded him in death on June 15, 2004. On December 29, 2012, at Doniphan, Missouri, he was married to Beth House. She survives.

Also surviving; Lisa Bruce of Poplar Bluff, Missouri and Shelley Bruce of Oxly, Missouri; one sister; Bonnie Barker of Naylor, Missouri. Two grandchildren, Maddie  House and Skylar. Two nephews; Bruce and Ronnie Barker also survive.

Kenny was a member of the New Hope Baptist Church of Doniphan and had retired form the State Highway Department. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, gardening and the outdoors.

Visitation for Kenny will begin at 10:00 am Monday May 8, 2017 with the funeral following at 2:00 pm in the Fowler-Sullivan Memorial Chapel, Inc. Neelyville, Missouri. Burial will be in the Naylor Memorial Cemetery at Naylor, Missouri with Pastor Truman Chatman officiating.

Raymond Louis Byrd

Raymond Louis Byrd, 64, of Naylor, Missouri passed away April. 30, 2017 in the Poplar Bluff regional Medical Center in Poplar Bluff, Missouri. He was born March 19, 1953 at Hayti, Missouri to the late Walter Byrd and Nora Hampton Byrd.

On August 27, 1982 at Parma, Missouri He was married to Linda Ann Golden. She survives.

Also surviving; Two children, Gregory Byrd and Melissa of Poplar Bluff, Missouri and Logan Byrd and Danyale of Naylor, Missouri. Two sisters, Barbara Sue White of Indiana and Ethel Lucille Sapp of Little Rock, Arkansas as well as nine brothers, Walter Lee Byrd of Neelyville, Missouri, Glen Edward Byrd of Poplar Bluff, Missouri, Kenneth Lynn Byrd of Pea Ridge, Arkansas,  Leonard Eugene Byrd of Hampton, Arkansas, Larry Joe Byrd of Naylor, Missouri, Freddy Wayne Byrd of Indiana, Calvin Ray Byrd of Doniphan, Missouri and Elvis Gerald Byrd of Stringtown, Missouri. One grandchild; Andrea Michelle.

He is preceded in death by his parents as well as two sisters; Pat Gaskins and Clara Asher and one brother; Vernon Odell Byrd. He had worded at the Missouri Forge at Doniphan, and enjoyed Fishing, Hunting, watching T.V. as well as playing with his granddaughter.

Visitation for Mr. Byrd will be Thursday night May 4, 2017 starting at 6 p.m. in the Fowler-Sullivan Memorial Chapel, Inc. of Neelyville, Missouri. Funeral will be May 5. 2017 starting at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel. Burial will be the Cypress Creek cemetery near Fairdealing with Glen Byrd officiating.

Benita Hesselrode

Benita Hesselrode 76, of Poplar Bluff, Mo., passed away Saturday, April 29, 2017 at her home.

Mrs. Hesselrode was born July 7, 1940 in Campbell Mo. She was a member of the Bible Baptist Church in Poplar Bluff.  Benita loved the Lord and enjoyed being with her children and grandchildren, yard sales, and flea marketing.

She was married to Charles Hesselrode Sr., who preceded her in death.

Surviving include her children, Vicki Simpson of Poplar Bluff, Claudette Adams, and Edward Henson of Piedmont; two brothers, Buddie Weaver and Billy Weaver; 26 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.

Also preceding her in death are two sons, Rodney Henson and Donald McKenzie; her father, Willie Weaver and mother, Birtie (Wells) Weaver; as well as two sisters, Carolyn Weaver and Wadean Curtis.

Visitation will begin at noon, Thursday, May 4, 2017 at Fowler-Sullivan Funeral Home in Poplar Bluff.  The funeral procession will leave the funeral home at 1p.m. for a 1:30 p.m. GRAVESIDE FUNERAL at Ash Hill Cemetery.  Rev. Darrell Friday will officiate.

Thomas Cole Jr.

Thomas Cole Jr., 55, of Naylor, Missouri passed away April 29, 2017 at his home. He was born December 12, 1961 at Santa Pala, California to the late Thomas Monroe Cole Sr. and Patricia Marie “Kenny” Cole.

On May 5, 1995 at Belleville, Illinois Tom was married to Bobbie Young. She survives.

He is survived by one step son Evan and daughter Anna Marie (who he called his Angel Baby). Also surviving are two sisters; Sue Cronley and husband Bob of Afton, Missouri and Jan Petric and husband Mark of Oakville, Missouri. One uncle, Dan and aunt Joann as well as 1 sister-in-law and brother-in-law Theresa and Jim Lepold.  Niece;  Tifany Babcock and husband Steve ,  Great nieces; McKenzie Beckwith, Paige and Sidney Babcock and Mary Clair Holloway.  Nephew;  Nick Lepold andwife Ashley . Great nephews; Bobby, Brendon and  Patrick Cronley, Jacob, and Sean Petric.  Six grandchildren and one great children and one great grandchild survive.

He is preceded in death by his parents as well as one niece Dana Lepold.

Tom had served in the United States Army and worked for the Pentagon. He attended the Naylor Pentecostal Church and enjoyed horse racing, sports, St. Louis Blue hockey, St Louis Rams, whiffle ball bat-twirling the bats. Tom was a driver for FedEx.

Visitation for Tom will be Sunday ,  May 7, 2017,  starting at 10:00 a.m. in the Naylor Pentecostal church in Naylor, Missouri. The funeral following at 2:00 p.m. in the church. Burial will be in the Gum Cemetery with Donnie Fowler Officiating.
