Annie Mae Favorite

Annie Mae Favorite, 86, beloved mother of Mary Greiwe(George), Teresa Chambers, Kerry Favorite, and baby Shelton went to be with her Lord and Savior Saturday, December 2, 2017.

She was a devoted Christian, a member of Poplar Bluff Full Gospel Church.

Surviving are her daughters: Mary Greiwe and husband George, and Theresa Chambers; grandchildren: James Colacecchi and wife Jennifer, Jason Chambers and wife Emma. Eric Chambers, Michael Nolan, Christian Chambers, and Patrick Nolan; great-grandchildren: Aliyah Chambers Julian Chambers, Mason Chambers, Brandon Jenkins, Kaylee Onnie Jenkins; her brothers: William and Ernest Robertson and David McTheeney; several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Elsie Robertson; two children: Kerry Favorite and Baby Shelton; three sisters: Mary Marie Hall, Connie F. Shelton, Florence Nicholson; two brothers; Virgil and Johnny Robertson.

Visitation will be at 10am Thursday, December 7 at Poplar Bluff Full Gospel Fellowship Church.  The funeral service will follow at noon in the church with Bob Fry officiating.  She will be laid to rest in the Qulin Cemetery.

Bertha Hodge,71 of Poplar Bluff passed away December 2, 2017 at Cedargate in Poplar Bluff.

Visitation will be Friday, December 8,2017 12pm at Fowler-Sullivan Funeral Home in Poplar Bluff.  The funeral service will follow in the funeral home chapel at 1pm with the Rev. Bonnie Goins officiating.  Burial will be in Memorial Gardens.

Joyce Bayne

Joyce Bayne, 48 of Poplar Bluff passed away December 2, 2017 at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center.  She was born Dec. 17, 1968 in Poplar Bluff.

She was a 1988 graduate of Naylor High School; was baptized at Pilgrims Rest Church in Fairdealing and worked at the Mag Sheltered Workshop.

She was married to John Bayne May 30, 2003 in Corning, AR  He survives.  Also surviving is a daughter; Elizabeth Moore,  sister; Mary (Kevin) Ford, brother; Oliver Bruce

Joyce was preceded in death by her father Daniel Bruce, Mother; Wilma Bruce and Sister Alice Bayne.

There will be a visitation at 1pm Tuesday, December 5th at Fowler-Sullivan Funeral Home 844 Cedar Street in Poplar Bluff  and a GRAVESIDE funeral 2:30 pm at Gum Cemetery in Naylor, with the Rev. Kevin Ford officiating.

Patricia K. Randall

Patricia K. Randall, 70 of Poplar Bluff passed away December 1, 2017 at Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis.  Mrs. Randall was born May 27, 1947 to the late William James and Zola James.

She had worked as a cook and sales clerk.

On September 4, 1993 she married Phillip Randall in Poplar Bluff.  He survives.

Other survivors are sons; Gary (Michelle) Wren of Jackson, Ronnie (Dee) Wren of Jackson, Daughter; Angie James and step-son Heath Randall of St. Louis.  Sisters; Toni (Weldon) Wallace of Campbell, Terry Lacey of Malden, Marlene(Tommy) Banks; and five grandchildren.

Visitation will be at 12pm Wednesday, December 6th at Fowler-Sullivan Funeral Home 844 Cedar St. Poplar Bluff, Mo.  The funeral service will follow at 1pm in the funeral home chapel with Rev. David Thomas officiating.  Burial will be at 2pm at Bloomfield Veteran’s Cemetery.

Geraldine Cate

Geraldine Brown Cate, 90 of Poplar Bluff passed away Nov. 14, 2017 at The Manor in Poplar Bluff.  Mrs. Cate was born August 20, 1927 in Dexter, Mo. to the late Homer and Daisy Brown(Baker).

She enjoyed gardening, singing and her family.  She was a member of the United Methodist Church in Poplar Bluff.

Mrs. Cate was also a member of the Red Hat Society, a foster grandparent for the Poplar Bluff School System, became a member of the Rebecca’s #847 in Bloomfield in 1976 and became Noble Grand in 1977., she transferred to Rebecca’s #41 in Poplar Bluff, and became Noble Grand in Poplar Bluff in 1997.

She was married to Eursel Cate on Oct. 1, 1943 in Dexter, Mo.  He preceded her in death March 26,1988.

Mrs. Cate is survived by children; Gayle Darrell Cate, Randall Lee Cate, Robert Wesley Cate, grandchildren; Christy Roberts, David Cole, Charlene Mullins, Jason Cate, Lynette Cate, Jessica Kinchen, Colton Cate, great-grandchildren; Rachel Hampton, Cole Roberts, Justin Cate, Megan Mullins, Clay Mullins, Danielle Cole, Tori Cole, Abby Cate, Jacob Cate, and Zack Cate, great-great grandchildren; Sadie Kinchen, Jaxon Cate and Charlotte Hampton.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, daughters Charlotte Ann Vernon and Fonda Jean Cate, and brother Carthal Cate.

Visitation will be from 9-11am Thurs. November 16,2017 at Fowler-Sullivan Funeral Home in Poplar Bluff.  The funeral service will begin at 11am in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Kevin Murray officiating.  Burial will take place at North Antioch Cemetery in Bloomfield, Mo.

Jonathan Curry

Jonathan Curry, 73 of Poplar Bluff passed away November 7, 2017 at Missouri Delta Hospital in Sikeston.  Mr. Curry was born December 29, 1943 in Chicago, IL to the late William and Flora Currie.

Mr. Curry had served in the United States Air Force.

Visitation will begin Saturday, November 18th at 11am in the Fowler-Sullivan Funeral Home chapel in Poplar Bluff.  The home going service will follow at 12pm in the chapel.  Burial will be in Morocco Cemetery with full military honors.

Raymond Fiehtner

Raymond Fiehtner, 65, of Poplar Bluff passed away November 3,2017 at his home.  Mr. Fiehtner was born December 19,1951 in  Pawnee, Nebraska.

He served on the USS Turner Joy in the  United States Navy during Vietnam War. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends and watching sports.  GO BRONCOS!!!

He was married to Cathy Fiehtner, she survives.  Also surviving are children: Michael Fiehtner, Heidi Moore, step-sons Aaron and Jason Hudson; a brother: Lorene Fiehtner; sister: Eulala Mitchell, 14 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.

Mr. Fiehtner was preceded in death by his parents; Carleton and Ardys Fiehtner, and a brother; Kenny Fiehtner.

Visitation will be 12-1pm  Monday, November 6th at Fowler-Sullivan Funeral Home in Poplar Bluff.  There will then be a 1:30 graveside funeral at Black Creek Cemetery, with full military honors.

Donald Ray Sawyer

Donald Ray Sawyer 81, of Poplar Bluff, died October 31, 2017 in Poplar Bluff surrounded by his family. He was born February 29, 1936 in Kennett, Mo to the late Ed and Imogene Sawyer.  Mr. Sawyer attended MT. Zion Church. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and the outdoors. He was a truck driver.

Mr. Sawyer married Sue Sawyer in 1958 and she preceded him in death on January 16, 2006. On June 5, 2008 he was united in marriage to Shirley McGarrity Sawyer she survives. Also surviving are his children Charlynda Snodgrass and husband Clay, Letitia Pollard and husband Fred. one brother Thomas Gardner, and two sisters Peggy Trout and Wilma Benny. Two grandchildren Morgan Venable and husband Steven, and Carl Snodgrass.

Visitation will be Saturday November 4, 1 p.m. at Fowler-Sullivan Funeral home in Poplar Bluff with the funeral services following at 2 p.m. Burial will be at Brown Chapel Cemetery Broseley, Mo. Pastor Danny Robinson will be officiating.

Charles Raulston

Charles Raulston,71, of Poplar Bluff passed away November 1,2017 at his home surrounded by loved ones.

Mr. Raulston was born July 31,1946 in Poplar Bluff, Mo.  He attended New Home General Baptist Church.  He was a master carpenter and baled hay.

He was a veteran of the United States Army, where he was a Staff Sergeant and a drill instructor for basic training in Ft. Hood, TX.  Mr. Raulston enjoyed playing pool, watching Cardinal baseball and westerns on TV, hunting, fishing, mowing yard, driving his tractor bailing hay, and spending time with his family and friends.

On June 27,1981 he married Bettie Raulston (Pitt)  at Memorial Baptist Church in Poplar Bluff.  She preceded him in death April 16,2016.

Surviving are children: Riley Raulston, Michelle Crutchfield and husband Corey, Charles Raulston II and fiancée Melissa, step-son Mark McMullin and wife Kim, nieces that are like daughters: Tresa Pratt and Lisa Aubuchon; brothers: childhood friend like a brother Kenny Barker; sister: Beulah Pratt; grandchildren: Cori Ruprecht, Courtney Raulston, Riley Raulston, Jay Raulston, Craig Crutchfield, Kiersten Crutchfield, and soon-to-be grandchild Isabelle Tucker; great-grandchildren: Max and Miles Ruprecht.

Charles was preceded in death by his parents: Charles Thomas Raulston and Sally Evieline Raulston (Robbins), wife Bettie, brothers Riley and Lenny Raulston.

Visitation will be held 6-8pm Friday, November 3rd at Fowler-Sullivan Funeral Home in Poplar Bluff.  The funeral service will be Saturday, November 4th at 10am with Rev. Calvin Buhler officiating.  Burial will follow in the City Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers family requests memorials to the local United Cancer Assistance Network (UCAN) 2620 North Westwood Blvd.  Poplar Bluff, Mo 63901
