Ben Duncan, 77, of Poplar Bluff, MO., passed away Friday, July 26, 2013, at the Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center.
Mr. Duncan was born August 17, 1935, in Knobel, Ark. He was of the Christian faith. A cattle rancher, he enjoyed raising cattle, hunting, fishing, being with his family and loved life to the fullest.
On September 3, 1988, he married Trudy Duncan at Corning, Ark. She survives.
Also surviving are six children, Pam Scott and husband, Devon, Gail Fox-Dohrman and husband, Jim, Carl Troutt and wife, Becky, Mike Troutt and wife, Renee, Brad Troutt and wife, Alisha and Kristen Lacy and husband, Matt; three sisters, Yvonne Dicus, Margie Cox and Hellen Owen; two brothers, WL Duncan and Oneil Duncan; 10 grandchildren, Jerrica and Julia Fox, Hailey, Meagan, Bryant, Brayden and Nicholas Troutt, Bennett, Logan and Cooper Lacy.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Obie Duncan and Stella (Holleman) Duncan and one sister, Beatrice Norwood.
Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. Wednesday, July 31, 2013 at Fowler-Sullivan Funeral Home in Poplar Bluff . A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, with Father Daniel Hirtz officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Gardens in Poplar Bluff.
