Betty Faye McCormick, 74, of Poplar Bluff, Mo., died July 9, 2013 at the Mark Twain Caring Center.
Mrs. McCormick was born April 27, 1939, in St. Charles, Mo., to the late Olon H. Morris and Floy M. (Carver) Morris. She was owner of the Wagon Wheel Tavern and enjoyed crocheting, game shows and John Wayne movies. She was also a member of Eagles EERI 3303 and American Legion.
On November 12, 1980, she married Leo McCormick in Scott County, Mo. He preceded her in death December 2005.
Survivors include her daughter, Bobbie Hickman of Naylor; son, Steve Heinsz of Chaffee, Mo.; one sister, Lois Hammer of Hilton Head Island, N.C. and one brother, Robert Osiek of Champaign Ill.; five grandchildren, Leo McCormick, John Wells, Zachery Weed, Thurman Wallace and Michael Gillum; four great-grandchildren, Addison and Landon Weed; Preston and Kelsey Wells.
Also preceding her in death, one daughter, Brandie McCormick.
