Billie Mack Sadler, 71, of Poplar Bluff, Mo., went to be with the Lord Tuesday, March 3, 2015 at the John J. Pershing VA Medical Center in Poplar Bluff.
Mr. Sadler was born November 16, 1943, in Poplar Bluff, to the late William and Hilda Sadler.
He served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He was a member of the Palace of Praise Church in Poplar Bluff, and served as usher. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping and being with friends. He also loved traveling to gospel concerts with his wife Tina.
On June 5, 1966 he married Tina (Jones) Sadler. She survives. They enjoyed 48 wonderful years together, full of love and laughter.
Other survivors include one son, Brian Sadler and daughter, Paula Sadler and one granddaughter, Christina Whitaker and sister, Imogene Landis.
He is preceded in death by his parents as well as three brothers, Alfred, David and Joe Sadler
Visitation will begin at 12 noon Saturday, March 7, 2015 at Fowler-Sullivan Funeral Home in Poplar Bluff followed by the funeral service at 1p.m. in the chapel. Bishop Kent Miller and Pastor Randy West will officiate. Burial will be in the Poplar Bluff City Cemetery with full military rites.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggest memorials be made to Fowler-Sullivan Funeral Home.
