Bonnie Jean Ryan, 83, of Poplar Bluff, Mo., passed away Friday, March 21, 2014 at the Mark Twain Caring Center.
Mrs. Ryan was born May 7, 1930, in Qulin, Mo., to the late Ralph and Beatrice Hargrove. She was of the Baptist faith. She had worked at Smiley Container, in Poplar Bluff, for 20 years. She enjoyed watching Elvis and science fiction movies, and loved being with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
On July 8, 1976, she was married to Jim Ryan in Poplar Bluff. He survives. She was previously married to Cleo Drew, who preceded her in death.
Also surviving include two children, Lanny Drew (Pat) and Cheryl Crouch (Roger); two sisters, Brenda Sandlin (Roy) and Peggy Black; two brothers, Teddy Hargorve (Peggy) and Tommy Hargrove (Wanda); four grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
She was also preceded in death by a son, Jimmy Laverne Drew and brother-in-law, Rip Black.
Visitation will begin at 11 a.m. Monday, March 24, 2014 at Fowler-Sullivan Funeral Home in Poplar Bluff with the funeral to follow at 1 p.m. Brother Calvin Ham Jr. will officiate. Burial will be in the Qulin Cemetery.
