Carlena Jones, 91, of Poplar Bluff died Wednesday, Jan. 15, 2014, at 6:15 a.m. at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center. Jones was born December 16, 1922, in Ravenden Springs, Ark. She was a florist and enjoyed fishing, gardening, traveling, and outdoor work. She was a member of the Naylor Church of Christ.
On June 14, 1943, she married Armand Jones in Egypt, Ark. He preceded her in death on May 26, 1975.
Survivors include her three daughters, Loretta Willcut & husband Dave of Naylor, Mo., Jeanie DeBord (Mike Hovis) of Neelyville, Mo., Mona Johnson & husband Randy of Harviell, Mo.; one son, Donald Jones & wife, Felicia of Doniphan, Mo.;10 grandchildren, Rhonda JungBluth, Tom Colley, Matt Colley, William McNece, Dave & James Willcut, Lorie Wilson, Jason Tharp, Brian Johnson, and Lindsy Wilson,; and 9 great-grandchildren.
Besides her husband she was preceded in death by her parents, David C. Looney and Ella C. Lane, 3 sisters, and one brother.
Visitation will be from 6-8p.m. Friday at Fowler-Sullivan Memorial Chapel with the funeral service at 2:00p.m. Saturday. Burial will be at Black Cemetery in near Success, Ark.
