Clarice Knickerbocker, 94, of Corning, Ar. died Feb. 3, 2016 in Corning. She is the daughter of the late Auther Lee and Minnie Partney. Mrs. Knickerbocker was born May 19, 1922 in Filmore, Mo. She was a member of the Neelyville Church. Mrs. Knickerbocker was a devoted wife and mother.
Clarice was a dedicated, creative mother and loving wife and home came first. She will be missed by family and friends.
On December 21, 1941, she married Edwin Knickerbocker of Doniphan, Mo., who proceeds her in death.
Survivors include, 2 daughters, Sharon Kennon of Maynard, Ar. and Edwina Eldridge of Ditto, Ar., 1 sister, Lorene Woolsey of Mt. View, Mo.; 2 brothers, Edward Lee and Eugene Lee, both of Melba, Id. As well as grandchildren, Nikki Hart of Pocahontas, Ar., Jennifer Morin of Fairdealing, Mo., Chase Cook of Oxly, Mo., Amanda Dove of Memphis, TN., and LaRon Flanigan. She also leaves many dear friends at the Corning Therapy and Living Center.
Besides her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Helen Ponder and Lola Perchal; and brothers, Elmer Lee, Lawrence Lee, Buford Lee, and Charles Lee.
Mrs. Knickerbockers wishes were to be cremated and to rest next to her beloved husband in Amity Cemetery.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Research Fund in care of the Neelyville Funeral Home.
