Eddie'Mae Scott, 96, of Neelyville, Mo., passed away Sunday, Nov. 15, 2015 at her home.
Mrs. Scott was born on Feb. 25, 1919 in Corning, Ar. She worked as a homemaker and enjoyed reading, flower beds, her church and the St. Louis Cardinals Baseball. She was a member of the United Methodist Women Organization for over 60 years as well as a member of the Eastern Star. She attended Neelyville United Methodist Church where she had previously taught Sunday School and Bible School. She was a lifelong resident of Butler County.
On Aug. 24, 1941 she married Ray Scott in Corning, Ar. He preceded her in death in 1981.
Survivors include, her son, Bill Scott & Angela of Neelyville, Mo.; 1 sister, Elizabeth Lampher of Tampa, FL.; 3 grandchildren, Bill Scott, Shannon Quarterman, Shammie Warren and Jen Stanley; 6 great-grandchildren, Anna Mae Scott, Avery Jordan Scott, Kristene Lynette Reynolds, Cody De'Wayne Reynolds, Gage and Jackson.
Besides her husband she was also preceded in death by her parents, William Wright and Ollie Mae; 3 sisters, Kathleen Smith, Caroline Hensley; Emiline Powell; and 1 brother, Darb Wright.
Visitation will be from 11:00 - 1:00 on Friday, Nov. 20, 2015 at Neelyville United Methodist Church with funeral service beginning at 1:00 p.m. Kent Wilfong will be officiating. Burial will take place at Memorial Gardens in Poplar Bluff.
