Edna Robb, 98, of Doniphan, formerly of Corning Ark., Marmaduke, Ark., and Illinois, died Monday, November 25, 2013, at the Current River Nursing Center in Doniphan.
She was born Aug. 8, 1915 in Ripley County. She was a school teacher and received her degree from Arkansas State University. She had taught at Beechridge, Bumcomb, and Naylor and retired from the Illinois school system.
Mrs. Robb enjoyed quilting. She attended the Church of Christ.
She was married April 21, 1934, to Owen "Hoss" Robb in Ripley County, who preceded her in deathon April 26, 1975.
Also preceding her in deathwas a son, Ronnie Robb; parents, Harrison Woolard and Delia Williamson Woolard; a sister, Nola Small; two brothers, Jim and Redus Woolard.
Surviving are one son, Joe Robb of Neelyville, Mo. and three daughters, Marie Whelchel of Rogers, Ark., Margaret Slagle of Chesapeake, Va. and Kathy Dale of Rogers, Ark., sister, Katheleen "Tot" Woolard of Doniphan, 10 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, several great-great-grandchildren and several great-great-great-grandchildren
Visitation will be held Saturday, Nov. 30 from 10:00 a.m. until time of service at the Fowler-Sullivan Memorial Chapel.
The Funeral service will be held Saturday, Nov. 30 at noon at the Fowler-Sullivan Memorial Chapel. Burial will be in Black Cemetery in Success, Ark.
In lieu of flowers family requests memorials be made to Children's Home in Paragould, Ark.
