Frank Kearbey passed away Thursday May 5, 2011 at the age of 55. A memorial visitation will begin at 6 p.m. Monday May 9, 2011, followed by the memorial service at 7 p.m. in the chapel. Pastor Paul White will officiate. Burial in Kearbey Chapel Cemetery in Butler County.
Mr. Kearbey was born January 1, 1956 in Ft. Iyndl, Florida to parents Herbert Hoover Kearbey and Bessie Ruth "Wills" Kearbey. Both preceded him in death. He was a resident of Butler County for 14 years, but had formerly lived in Carter County.
On January 5, 1991 he married Angela "Robbins" Kearbey. She survives.
He enjoyed fishing and hunting and attended the Midland Church. Mr. Kearbey served in the United States Marines for 10 years including the Vietnam War.
He is survived by his wife, Angela; children Melissa Kearbey, Celena Kearbey and Stacey Kearbey all of Grandin, Stepchildren LaDeana Clemons of Ellsinore and LeeVona Null of Poplar Bluff; one sister, Linda Ann DeFord of Anniston, Alabama; one brother, Danny Kearbey of Ellsinore, one nephew, Brian DeFord; step-grandchildren, Tristin and Montanna.
He is preceded in death by his parents and one nephew, Kevin Daniel Kearbey.
