Garry Audie Baldridge, 70, of Poplar Bluff, Mo., passed away, Saturday, April 22, 2017 at The Cedargate in Poplar Bluff.
Mr. Baldridge was born January 12, 1947 in Pensacola, Fla. He was of the Christian faith. Garry served in the U.S. Army from 1966-1968 and retired from the city of Poplar Bluff Fire Department. He was a member of American Legion Post 143 and Eagles Lodge in Poplar Bluff and enjoyed hunting and riding motorcycles.
In 2002 he married his wife, Melba, in Butler County. She preceded him in death January 7, 2014.
Survivors include his daughters, Andrea Baldridge and Bettina Blackburn; four step-children, Jamie Ivy (Valerie), Jeramie Ivy (Stacie), Jason Ivy, Megan Berry (Marc); one uncle, Lloyd Baldridge (Imogene); two grandchildren, Sean Blackburn and Alyssa Blackburn; four step-grandchildren, Joshua Ivy, Emmaleigh Ivy, Madison Berry and Alexander Berry. Also surviving is the mother of his children, Alma Baldridge.
He was also preceded in death by his parents, Audie and Margaret Baldridge and one sister, Patricia Ellsworth.
Visitation will begin at noon, Tuesday, April 25, 2017 at Fowler-Sullivan Funeral Home in Poplar Bluff, followed by the funeral service at 2 p.m., with Ron Fowler officiating. He will be laid to rest in the Cochran Cemetery with full military honors.
