Genevieve Hart Obituary

Genevieve Hart, 90, of Neelyville died Sunday, Jan. 12, 2014, at 4:45 p.m. at West Vue Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in West Plains, Mo.

Mrs. Hart was born May 19, 1923, in Knobel, Ark. She was a homemaker who enjoyed playing the piano, reading and crocheting. She was a member of Mo-Ark Baptist Church where she had served as secretary and treasurer and played piano.

On Oct. 15, 1949, she married Vernon Eugene Hart in Pocahontas, Ark. He preceded her in death on May 30, 2000.

Survivors include her children, Verneal Braden of Viola, Ark., and Carolyn Michnal of Kalispell, Mont,; five grandchildren, Blenda Collins, Dwayne Braden, Kevin Michnal, O'Brian Michnal and Jerrod Michnal; 11 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, C.C. and Nora Richardson; three sisters; and three brothers.

Visitation will be from noon to 2 p.m. Friday at Fowler-Sullivan Memorial Chapel with the funeral service following. Burial will be at Kinsey Cemetery near Harviell, Mo.
