HAROLD POWELL

Harold Powell, 66 of Fisk passed away June 3, 2012 at his daughter's home in Fisk. Harold had formerly lived in Poplar Bluff. He was born May 22, 1946 in Dudley, MO He enjoyed fishing, camping and spending time with family. On April 9, 1964 he married Rebecca Vaughn in Poplar Bluff. She died March 17, 2005.

Harold is survived by 4 daughters; Shirley Tidwell and husband Sherman; Carol Schmidt and husband Robert Sr.; Sheila Powell and fiancee Randy Foster; and Michelle Fletcher and husband David Sr. ; 3 sisters; Carol Haga of California; Marie Roop of South Carolina and Rose Harper of O'Fallon; 14 grandchildren; Billy, Harold and Jason Tidwell of Poplar Bluff; Rebecca, Robert Jr and Randy Schmidt of Poplar Bluff; Sylve and Christina Burden of Fisk; Terry Fletcher of Jackson; Donald Powell-Hager, Haley Hager of Poplar Bluff; Monke, Stephanie and David Jr. of Arkansas; 16 great-grandchildren; Tabby Bilbrey, Amber, Jason Jr, Blake, Mary, Emily Tidwell; Serenity, Charlie, Brian Gilliam, Lizzy and Mandalynn Fletcher, Sophia Long, Kaylee Hager, Suzzie Hager-Rapson, Braxton Fletcher and Makela Tidwell.

He was preceded in death by his wife Rebecca, his father Hershal Powell and mother Lucille Hunt-Powell; brother Hershal Jr.;a sister Clara and a grandson Steven Schmidt.

Visitation will be 7-9PM Friday June 8th at Fowler-Sullivan Poplar Bluff 844 Cedar St. and funeral will be 11AM Sat. June 9th at the funeral home chapel with John Vaughn officiating. Burial will be in Black Creek Cemetery.
