Ira Bruce Rahm, 62, of Poplar Bluff, Mo., died Tuesday, Nov. 1, 2011, at the John J. Pershing VA Medical Center in Poplar Bluff, Mo.
Mr. Rahm was born May 12, 1949, in Doniphan, Mo. He formerly lived in Arkansas and was of the Baptist faith.
He served in the U.S. Marine Corps during the Vietnam War. He was a motor boat builder. Mr. Rahm enjoyed being with his family, hunting and telling stories.
On Nov. 13, 1981, he was married to Sue Massey. She survives of the home.. Also surviving are two children, Shannon Rahm of Poplar Bluff and Carrie Spencer of California; three sisters, Flora J. Bernson of Tennessee, Marsha Campbell and Rose Hoffman, both of Poplar Bluff; four grandchildren, Hunter and Calab Rahm and Taylor and Aaron Spencer; several nieces and nephews and other family members he was very close to.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Buell Rahm and his mother Irma (Vinson) Rahm.
Graveside services with full Military Honors will be a t 1 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 3, 2011, at the Missouri Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield, Mo. with Pastor Byron Beck officiating. Fowler-Sullivan Funeral Home of Poplar Bluff in charge of arrangements.
