Jack Parham Obituary

Jack Parham, 83, of Poplar Bluff, Mo., passed away on Jan. 17, 2017 at The Manor in Poplar Bluff, Mo.

Mr. Parham was born on July 23, 1933. He worked as a farmer and enjoyed fishing, hunting and picking witch Hazel. He was of the Pentecostal faith.

Jack is survived by his son, Norman Wade Parham of Corban, IL.; sisters, Willie Higgins and Victoria Joyce Smith; brothers, Johnny Gargus of Boonville, MS., Daniel H. Gargus of Doniphan, Mo., James Gargus of Barto, FL., and Bobby Ray Gargus of Ft. Meade, FL.; as well as 1 grandchild.

He was preceded in death by, his parents, Willie Wade Gargus and Isabelle Irene Oliver; grandparents, Harv and Nervie Oliver; sisters, Geraldine Smith and Carrybelle Hollins; brother, Junior Wade Gargus; and his best friend, Roma Garrison.

A graveside service will take place on Friday, January 20, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. at the Wilson Cemetery in Doniphan with Ricky Perkins officiating.
