James Thomas Hale, 68, of Poplar Bluff, Mo., passed away Saturday, March 21, 2015 at the Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center. Mr.
Hale was born November 13 , 1946 in Modesto, Ca. to the late Albert and Mary (Brumfield) Hale.
He was a salesman at Hefner Furniture from which he retired. He enjoyed fishing and playing cards and was of the Baptist faith.
On October 11, 2000 he was united in marriage to Kay Hale in Corning, Ar, She survives.
Also surviving are his children, Kristi Ward (Geoff), of Broken Arrow, Ok., Mark Hale (Toria) of Canton, Mi., Mike Hale (Marsha), of Cary, NC., Mary Ellen Daves (Randy), of Poplar Bluff, and Dale Prim (Norma ) also of Poplar Bluff; three sisters, Deloris Fittro, Diane Luallen, and Sherri Hufferd, 6 grandchildren, and 25 great-grandchildren.
He was also preceded in death by one sister, Carol Hill.
Visitation will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, March 26, 2015 at Fowler- Sullivan Funeral Home in Poplar Bluff, followed by graveside services at 2 p.m. in the Poplar Bluff City Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggest memorials be made to: American Legion Post 153 or the Elks Lodge in Poplar Bluff.
