James H. McNew, 73, of Poplar Bluff, Mo., passed away Wednesday, February 25, 2015, at his home.
Mr. McNew was born May 31, 1941, in Doniphan, Mo. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, and he was retired from the railroad.
In May 1991, he married Cindy McNew in Poplar Bluff. She survives.
Along with his wife he is also survived by five children, Kenny McNew and wife, Shelly, Karen Sprouse and husband, Michael, Kim Webb and husband, Jerry, John Fuller McNew, and Travis Fuller McNew; two sisters, Barbara Frey and Lana Parks; 14 grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews that are well loved.
He was preceded in death by his parents, James H. McNew and Violet (Jiles) Adams as well as two sisters, Sheila Dorris and Vera Hogan.
Visitation will begin at 1p.m. Saturday, February 28, 2015, at Fowler-Sullivan Funeral Home in Poplar Bluff. The funeral will follow at 2p.m. with the Rev. Calvin Buhler officiating. Burial will be in the Poplar Bluff City Cemetery.
