Jerry Moss

Jerry Markham Moss, age 70, of Piedmont, Mo., passed away Saturday, November 3, 2012 at Clark's Mountain Nursing Center in Piedmont, Mo.

Mr. Moss was born November 2, 1942 to the late Clarence Otto Moss and Sara Kathryn (Markham) Moss in Mill Spring, Mo.

He lived in Wayne County for 55 years and worked as a car salesman. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. He served in the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam War.

On October 4, 1975 he was married to Barbara (Buss) Moss in Laurel, Nebraska. She survives.

Also surviving are his children, Tonya Zielich of Lawton, Ia, Stacey Ocander of Omaha, Ne., Mark Moss of Ankeny, Iowa, Kenneth Moss of Mill Spring, Mo., Rachelle Moss of Ellsinore, Mo., and Matthew Moss of Mill Spring, Mo.; two sisters, Mary McDonald of St. Peters, Mo., and Shirley Wright of Rolla, Mo.; three brothers, Ronald Moss of Afton, Mo., Eugene Moss and Bernie Moss both of Mill Spring, Mo.; nine grandchildren, Lacey Eddy, Karli Zielich, Riley Moss, Alyssa Moss, Nolan Ocander, Sierra Zieler, Leah Zieler, Callei Moss, Blaine Moss; one great-grandchild, Liam Eddy.

He is preceded in death by his parents and three brothers, William Moss, Jack Moss, Wayne Moss and twin brothers, Harold and Gerald Moss.

Visitation will be at 6 p.m. Tuesday, November 6, 2012 at Fowler-Sullivan Funeral Home, 844 Cedar Street, Poplar Bluff, Mo. Funeral services at 1 p.m. Wednesday, November 7, 2012 in the chapel, with Pastor Jerry Mattson officiating. Burial in Carson Hill Cemetery, Mill Spring, Missouri.
