Joseph Morris

Joseph Calvin Morris, 56, of Fairdealing, Mo., passed away on Saturday, June 3, 2017 at the Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center in Poplar Bluff, Mo.

Mr. Morris was born on Feb. 25, 1961 in Poplar Bluff, Mo and was a 1979 graduate of Naylor High School. He worked as a truck driver and enjoyed working on old cars, truck driving, spending time and playing games with his grandchildren. He was a member of the Little Bethel Missionary Baptist Church and a member of the Masonic Lodge in Doniphan.

Joseph was a Veteran of the United States Navy, having served in Desert Storm. He had also been stationed in Virginia Beach as well as North Carolina.

He is survived by his daughter Sara Pulliam and husband Bobby of Fairdealing, Mo.; parents, Joseph and Jessie Morris of Harviell, Mo., brother, Roger Dale Morris of Naylor, mo.; as well as 2 grandchildren, Shaylynn and Ryleigh Pulliam.

Visitation will be on Wednesday, June 7, 2017 from 6:00 - 8:00 at the Fowler-Sullivan Memorial Chapel in Neelyville. The funeral will take place on Thursday June 8, 2017 in the chapel with Donnie Fowler officiating. Burial will follow at the Bloomfield Veterans Cemetery.
