KEN PRESSON Obituary

Ken Presson, 73, of Aurora, Mo., formerly of Poplar Bluff, passed away Monday morning, Oct. 8, 2012 at Cox Medical Center in Springfield,Mo.

Mr. Presson was born December 8, 1938 in Broseley, Mo. He was a retired school administrator. Mr. Presson enjoyed hunting, fishing and time spent with family. He was a member of the Gideons International and Retired Teachers Association. He was also in the National Guard.

On September 5, 1970 he married Carol Dickensheets in Hannibal, Mo. and she survives. Also surviving are children, Kenna McCleery(Brian) and Justin "Jay" Presson(Debbie) ; 3 sisters, Mavis Presson, Joyce Absheer, and Carolyn Eddy, and four grandchildren.

Mr Presson was preceded in death by his parents, Les Presson and Flossie May-Presson and his brother Coy Presson

Visitation will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday, October 11, 2012, at the First Church of God 3482 South Westwood, Poplar Bluff, Mo. Funeral service will begin at 11:30 at the church, with Rev. Richard Triplett officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Gardens.
