Margaret Swindle, 76, of Poplar Bluff, passed away at her residence Sunday May 15, 2011. Visitation will be 10:30-12:30 Wednesday, May 18, 2011 at Fowler-Sullivan Funeral Home 844 Cedar Street Poplar Bluff. Funeral service will begin at 12:30 in the funeral home chapel with the Rev. John Harwell officiating. There will be a 2PM burial at MO State Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield.
Margaret was born July 19, 1934 in Marenisco, Michigan. She was a member of New Life Christian Church United and was a retired hairdresser. she enjoyed dancing, sewing, reading, active in her church and caring for her children and grandchildren. On August 1, 1969 she married Thomas W. Swindle in Poplar Bluff. He preceded her in death in 2003. She had previously been married to Milo Hook and Ronald Palmer, who both preceded her in death.
She is survived by children; Robert Palmer and wife Linda, Judith Robertson and husband Joe, Madrid Palmer and wife Pat, Gary Palmer, Harvey Hook, Jennifer Littell and husband Karl, and Jeff Swindle and wife Tonya. Also step sons; Harold Swindle and wife Sheila, Tommy Swindle, and Gerald Swindle and wife Helen. Also survived by her sisters; Lorraine Anderson, Marcella Miskovich, Gladys Roland and 17 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren
She was preceded in death by her parents; Reinhold and LauraRominsky- Ryskey; brothers; Clarence Ryskey, Rudolph Ryskey and Arnold Ryskey and one sister Alice Pflanzer
