Mary Evelyn Barlow, 61, of Poplar Bluff, Mo., passed away Wednesday, January 7, 2015.
She was born August 6, 1953 in Waukegan, Ill. to the late Pete Paul Paukner Sr. and Mildred Evelyn (Hill) Paukner.
She worked for the Butler County Sheriff for 21 years and three years for the Ripley County Sheriff. After her retirement, she worked at Wal-Mart. She attended First Baptist Church and was loyal to her family and a hard worker.
On February 9, 2000 she married Kirk Barlow in Poplar Bluff. He survives.
Other survivors include a son, Jamie Glenn Snodgrass and wife, Jamie; 3 step children; Holly Palacio, Kelsey Barlow, Kirk Barlow II, four brothers, Paul Paukner, Robert Paukner and wife, Bernice, Eddie Paukner and wife, Susan, Billy Paukner and wife, Patti; seven grandchildren, Jamie Snodgrass Jr., Matthew Tyler Snodgrass, Jesse James Snodgrass, Kay'La Marie Snodgrass, Piper Aurora Salzman, Lucas and Olivia Palacio
Visitation will be held from 5-8 p.m. Saturday January 10, 2015 at Fowler-Sullivan Funeral Home in Poplar Bluff. Funeral Services will begin at 2 p.m. Sunday, January 11, 2015, in the chapel, with Sheriff Dobbs and Merrill Barlow officiating. Burial will be in the Antioch Cemetery, Oxly, Mo.
