MaryAnn Kienast, 69, of Dexter, Mo., formerly of Lawson, Mo., passed away Wednesday, September 23, 2015 at Cypress Point Skilled Nursing Home in Dexter, Mo.
Mrs. Kienast was born June 1, 1946, in Scottland, South Dakota, to the late William Max Claussen and Elizabeth Luby Claussen. She was of the Assembly of God faith. She was owner of Mary's Flower And Bridal Shoppe and enjoyed scrapbooking and bowling.
On February 13, 1966, she married Allen Arthur Kienast in Summerfield, Ks. He survives.
Other survivors include her children, Rhonda Smith (Roger) and Scotty Kienast (Marilyn); one sister, Judy Doyel; three brothers, Fritz, Edward and Hilton Claussen; four grandchildren, Denny and Daniel Smith and Mackinzie and Kayla Kienast.
A sister, Betty Claussen, also preceded her in death.
Interment will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, October 9, 2015 at the Mo. Veteran Cemetery in Bloomfield. Mo. A Memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, October 10, 2015 at the Lawson Assembly of God Church in Lawson, Mo., with Rev. Bobby Morris officiating.
