Mattie Josephine Odle, 84, of Poplar Bluff, Mo., passed away Thursday, February 16, 2017 at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center.
A memorial service will be held at 11a.m. on March 4, 2017 at First United Baptist Church of Farmington, 504 Yale St., Farmington, Mo.
Josephine was born in Marianna, Arkansas to Otto and Pearl Long on November 3, 1932. Most of her career was at Brown Shoe Company in Bernie, MO. She enjoyed spending time with her family.
Josephine is preceded in death by her parents, Otto and Pearl and one sister Katherine of Alton, IL.
Josephine is survived by her siblings, John (Pat) Long of Bloomfield, MO; Billy (Doris) Long of Belton, TX; and Shirley Seabaugh of Marble Hill, MO; her children Linda (Ron) Dennis of Bonneterre, MO; Jim (Helen) Odle, Rose Odle and Elaine Williams all of Farmington, MO; Sharon Bishop of Poplar Bluff, MO; seven grandchildren Doyle, James and Edward Wheetley; Eddie and Donald Williams; Derek Odle; Travis Odle; great grandchildren Dakota Wheetley; Easton and Lauren Courtney; Shaylie Horner; Jeremy Wheetley; Donavin Odle; Liam Godfrey-Williams and Katelyn Odle as well as a host of other family members and friends.
The family would like to extend their gratitude to the nurses and doctors of PBRMC that took great care of such a special person during such a sudden decline in health.
