Melvin Slusher, 73, 0f Naylor, Missouri, passed away November 8, 2017 at his residence. He was born April 15, 1944 at Holcomb, Missouri to Boyd Slusher and Neva Bohannon Hill.
One January 21, 1972 at Poplar Bluff, Missouri He was married to Hazel Armour. She survives.
He is survived by his wife, Hazel as well as two children; Brad Slusher and wife Lisa of Poplar Bluff, Missouri and Tara March and husband Riley of Doniphan, Missouri. His mother, Neva Hills of Poplar Bluff, Missouri and One sister; Carol Dillinger of Ft. Wayne, Indiana. He is also survived by his grandchildren; Cody Slusher, Peyton , Kirsten and Simeon March.
Melvin is preceded in death by is his father, Boyd Slusher, his step-father, Robert Hills, One sister; Diane Skiver and one Nephew; Bryan Smith.
Melvin was the owner operator of Slusher Cleaning Service and has lived in the Naylor area for 46 years. He enjoyed reading, watching Westerns and loved and enjoyed his family. He had also served in the United States Army during the Vietnam Era.
Visitation for Melvin will be Friday, November 10, 2017 starting at 5:00 p.m. in the Fowler and Sons Funeral Home of Neelyville, Missouri with the funeral starting at 1:00 p.m. Saturday November 11, 2017 in the chapel at Neelyville, Missouri. Burial will be in the Naylor Memorial Cemetery following service with Rev. Riley March officiating.
