Michael Joe Ray, 56, of Williamsville, Mo., passed away Saturday, May 3, 2014.
Mr. Ray was born September 16, 1957 in St. Louis, Mo. He worked as a clerk for the U.S. Postal Service and construction for Ben Turner. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and the outdoors. He was a member of the Assembly of God Church in Branch, Mo.
On June 21, 2012 he married Cynthia (Tolie) Ray. She survives.
Other survivors include his children, Michael Ray of Topeka, Ks. and Dakota Ray of Independence, Mo.; four stepdaughters, Melissa Cobb, Tiffany Cobb, Chyenne Cobb and Cherokee Cobb; his mother, Patty Ritz and step-father, Wallace Ritz; four sisters, Sharon Nichy, Janie Lane, Jeanie Roles and Misty Reynolds; four brothers, Steve Ray, John Ray, Tim Little and David Little; one grandchild, Haiden and three step-grandchildren, Carmine, Domenic and Michael.
He was preceded in death by his father, Wilson Ray.
Visitation will begin at 12 noon, Wednesday, May 7, 2014, followed by funeral service at 1 p.m. at Fowler-Sullivan Funeral Home, in Poplar Bluff, officiated by Rev. Byron Beck. A second visitation and funeral service will be held at Hedges-Scott Funeral Home, 1270 S. Hwy. 5, Camdenton, Mo., on Saturday, May 10, 2014. Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. with funeral service at 1 p.m. Rev. Michael Puckett will officiate. Burial will be in the Allee Memorial Gardens in Camdenton, Mo.
