Mildred Redus Obituary


Mildred Redus, 87, of Poplar Bluff, Missouri passed away September 7, 2017 in the Mark Twain Caring Center. She was born August 10, 1930 at Old Burr, Arkansas to the late Delno Mars and Gracie Billips Mars. On July 18, 1951 at Pocahontas, Arkansas she was married to Gene Malloy Redus.
She is survived by four children; Donna Smith and husband Max of Holladay, Tennessee, Vesta Evans and husband Frank of Poplar Bluff, Missouri, Arlen Redus and wife Karen of Fort Collins, Colorado and Eldon Redus and wife Lois of Pocahontas, Arkansas. Six sisters; Ethel Vandergriff, Elsie Hayes, Mary Ella Hart, Audra Faye McKuin, Delta Hausman, Dorothy Hausman. 14 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren also survives.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, as well as one sister; Esther Sparlin, three brothers, Earl Mars, Arrie Mars and William Lee Mars.

Mrs. Redus, was a member of the Bluff City Apostolic Worship Center of Poplar Bluff, Missouri. She was a homemaker, and enjoyed Gardening, Sewing, canning and she enjoyed her church.
Visitation for Mrs. Redus will be Monday, September 11, 2017, starting at 11:00 a.m. in the Bluff City Apostolic Worship Center in Poplar Bluff, Missouri. Funeral will start at 1:00 p.m. in the Church with Rev. Jerry Williams and Rev.Ted Elledge officiating. Burial will be in the Antioch Cemetery at Warm Springs, Arkansas.
