Norman Lincoln Richmond, 90, of Grandin, passed away on March 11, 2018 at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center.
He was born on January 14, 1928 to the late Albert and Fay (Huling) Richmond at Ripley County, MO. Norman worked as a Custodian for John J. Pershing Veteran's Hospital. He was a veteran of the United States Army and a member of the Southside Assembly of God Church. He enjoyed hunting, raising and breaking horses. He had traveled with Anheuser Busch and took care of the Clydesdale horses.
October18, 1956 he married Ethel Jeanette Fletcher. After twelve years of married, she preceded him in death. On January 15, 1972 he married Harriet Marie Richmond (Carpenter) in Carter County, MO. She survives. Also surviving are five daughters, Norma Richmond, Mary (David) Maple, Shannon Richmond Hurst, Sharon Wright, Ruth (Glenn) Gutterman; Son, Daniel Richmond; eight grandchildren, twenty-three great-grandchildren; three Great-great-grandchildren; Brother, Floyd Richmond and Sister, Doris Schmaltz.
He was preceded in death by his first wife of twelve years, Ethel Jeanette Fletcher, Father, Albert Richmond, Mother, Fay Richmond(Huling), Daughter, Debbie Roberts, Daughter-in-law, Sheila Honeycutt Richmond, Son-in-law, Kenny Wright, Sister, Goldie Wagner, Brothers Alvin , Lester and Harlon Richmond.
Visitation will be held Friday, March 16, 2018, 11:00 am - 12:00 pm at Fowler-Sullivan Funeral Home, Poplar Bluff, MO.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, March 16, 2018, 12:00 pm at the Fowler-Sullivan Funeral Home, Poplar Bluff, MO, with Pastor Jerry Lemons, officiating.
Burial will take place in the Stephens Cemetery on K Hwy in Ripley County.
