Oscar Ellis Obituary

Oscar Ellis, 78, of Neelyville, Missouri, passed away June 29, 2017 in the Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center of Poplar Bluff, Missouri. He was born, March 5, 1939 at Neelyville, Missouri to the late Albert Ellis Sr and Katie Conley Ellis.

He is survived by four sisters; Julia Francis Young of Detroit, Michigan, Mary Alice Holton of Harvey, Illinois, Laura McCain Of Neelyville, Missouri, Eddie Marie Mabry Of South Holland, Illinois and Lillian Terry Of Gary, Indiana. Numerous Nieces and Nephews also survive.

He was preceded in death by his parents as well as one sister; Johnetta Green and three brothers; Albert Ellis Jr. , Charley Ellis and Loyd Ellis.

He was a member of the Conley Grove Missionary Baptist Church of Neelyville, Missouri, and a farmer. He enjoyed gardening, lawn work and He also took care of is mother (Katie Conley Ellis) till her death.

visitation for Mr. Ellis will be Thursday July 6, 2017 starting at 10:00 a,m, with the funeral following at 11:00 a.m. Thursday in the Fowler-Sullivan Memorial Chapel, Inc. of Neelyville, Missouri. Burial will be in the Conley Grove Cemetery in Neelyville, Missouri.
