Pamela Lynn Wells Walton passed away Friday, May 20, 2011 at St. Louis University Hospital in St Louis, Missouri. She was 56.
Visitation will begin at 11 am Tuesday, May 24, 2011, followed by the funeral service at 12 noon in Williamsville Assembly of God with Pastor Helen Edwards officiating. Burial in Duncan Cemetery in Wayne County.
She was born March 12 1955, in Poplar Bluff and was a lifetime resident of Butler County. She was a member of Williamsville Assembly of God.
She was a homemaker and enjoyed gardening, crafts, being a grandma to her grandchildren. She had a special love for children.
On January 29, 1972, she was married to Larry Dale Walton in Willimasville. He survives. Also surviving are her children, Julie Birdsong and husband, Brian, Shaun Walton and wife, Heather, and J.C. Cothren, all of Poplar Bluff; her mother, Joan (Ballew)Wells of Williamsville; one stepbrother, Billy Emmons of Cleveland, Texas; five grandchildren and many special children who were close to her heart.
She was preceded in death by her father, Vernon Wells and her stepfather, Bill McMahan.
