Pansy L. Spencer, 76, of Poplar Bluff, Mo., passed away Tuesday, March 17, 2014 at her home.
Mrs. Spencer was born April 26, 1937 in Butler County to the late Fielen and Virgie (Medley) Johnson. She had worked as a Riverboat cook. She enjoyed spending time with her family, bird watching and talking about the Lord. She attended the Bible Baptist Church.
Survivors include her children, Gail Beck, Angie Spencer, Linda Manes, Carol Kara, and Steve Smith; sister, Kathy Johnson; three brothers, Jim, Jerry and Jack Johnson; 15 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.
Also preceding her in death are husbands, James Edward Smith and Bill Spencer, as well as one son, James Smith.
Visitation will begin at 12:30 p.m. Thursday, March 20, 2014 at Fowler-Sullivan Funeral Home, in Poplar Bluff, followed by a graveside service at 2 p.m. at Brown Chapel Cemetery in Brosley. Rev. Howard Coleman will officiate.
