Rebecca Shevonne Kellem Berry, 31, of Poplar Bluff, Mo., died Monday, May 13, 2013 at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St.Louis, Mo.. Rebecca was born October 12, 1981 in Mountain Home, Arkansas.
She was a contracted carrier for the Daily American Republic. she enjoyed fishing, camping and deer hunting. She had attended the Westpoint Pentecost Church of Doniphan, Mo.
Rebecca is survived by two children, Natalie Prewitt and Nathaniel Prewitt, both of Poplar Bluff, Mo. her companion, Jason of Poplar Bluff, Mo. Her mother Nancy McDonald of St.louis, Mo and Rick Kellem of Mountain Home, Arkansas.Mother and Father in law James and Brenda Berry, Brother and Sister in-laws, Michael and Amanda Berry, James and Angel Berry, Josh and Timber Berry and Vickie Berry. One Step Brother; Patrick McDonald; one Aunt Susie King;Her Grandmother, Betsy Kellem of Gassville, Arkansas. and several nieces and nephews also survive.
She was preceded in death by her mother-inlaw- Paulette Berry and one brother-in-law Keith Berry.
There will be a graveside service at 3:00 p.m. Friday May 17, 2013 at Kinsey Cemetery near Harviell. Fowler-Sullivan Memorial Chapel of Neelyville will be in charge of arrangements.
[…] Malden, Mo. — A 31-year-old Poplar Bluff woman was killed and two others in her vehicle injured in a head-on collision on Route MM four miles west of here. The driver of the other vehicle was also injured and air lifted in serious condition to Elvis Presley Trauma Center in Memphis, Tenn. Missouri State Highway Patrol said Rebecca S. Berry died Monday afternoon at Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis after the early morning crash here Sunday. Police said Jason T. Berry, 38, a passenger in the Berry vehicle, and Natalie L. Pruitt, 10, a second passenger, were both seriously injured. Berry was taken by ambulance to Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center, and Pruitt was air lifted to LeBonHeur Children’s Hospital in Memphis. Police said the accident occurred when a ’01 Jeep Cherokee driven by Douglas R. Stinson, 41, of Malden was southbound, crossed the center of the road and struck the Berry ’04 Chevy Tracker head-on.
