Ronnie Harwell, 70, of Poplar Bluff, Mo., passed away Thursday, February 28, 2013 at the Black River Medical Center in Poplar Bluff.
Mr. Harwell was born August 16, 1942 in St. Louis, Mo. He was of the Baptist faith. He was a self employed backhoe operator and he enjoyed hunting.
On January 14, 1961, he married Betty (Smith) Harwell, in Poplar Bluff. She survives.
Also surviving are four children, Tony Harwell and wife, Kim of Poplar Bluff, Connie Harrison and husband, Jim of Lake of the Ozark, Mo., Donna Moore and husband, Gary of Poplar Bluff and Kelley Putman and husband, Jason of Texas; one sister; Judy Cline of Poplar Bluff; one brother, Bill Harwell and wife, Juanita, of Poplar Bluff; seven grandchildren, Shanea, Timra, Christopher, Kaitlyn, Wesley, Madison and Brandon; four great-grandchildren, Ashlynn, Riley, Karissa and Zoie
Mr. Harwell was preceded in death by his parents; Lonnie and Lessie Harwell.
Visitation will be from 6-8p.m. Saturday March 2, 2013 at Fowler-Sullivan Funeral Home 844 Cedar St. Poplar Bluff, and the funeral service will be 11a.m. Monday, March 4, 2013, in the chapel, with the Rev. Don Mayo officiating. Burial will be in Walker Cemetery in Bloomfield, Mo.
