Rose Vinson, 70, of Poplar Bluff, Mo. passed away Tuesday, June 10, 2014 at her residence.
Mrs. Vinson was born August 10, 1943 in Poplar Bluff, to the late Arlie and Elva (Gossett) Robinson.
A member of Eagles 3730, she was a homemaker and had been a cook at Tower Restaurant. She enjoyed playing bingo, cooking and animals.
Mrs. Vinson was previously married to Donald Vinson, who survives. She is also survived by her 4 children, Pamela Baker, Debra Vinson, Duane Vinson and Tina Vinson-Powers and adopted daughter, Diana Kammerer; 3 sisters, Donna Malone, Barbara Ward and Glenda Clark, one brother, Gary Provance; 11 grandchildren, and 30 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents as well as a sister, Candy Brown and brother, Jimmy Dale Provance and two great-granchildren, Alizsa Vinson and Jonathan Carroll.
Visitation will be held from1-2:30p.m.Friday, June 13, 2014 at Fowler-Sullivan Funeral Home. A graveside service will follow at 3p.m. at Duley Cemetery, with Chaplain Ken McAnulty and Rev. Everett Gunter officiating
