Scott Williams, 52, of Poplar Bluff, formerly of Phoenix AZ. and Briar, Mo., died Saturday June 20, 2015 at his home.
Mr. Williams was born Aug. 31, 1962 in Phoenix, Ariz. He worked as a sawyer in he timber and sawmill industry. His hobbies included arrowhead hunting, working with leather, hunting, horses, rail riding and his grandchildren. He was a member of the Emmanuel Baptist Church in Doniphan, Mo.
Survivors include three children, Erin Williams of Poplar Bluff, Angela Williams and Jeremy Williams, both of Doniphan; his mother, Lovana Wheeler Moreland of Doniphan; two sisters, Lynda Williams of Phoenix, and Jennifer Reeves of Doniphan; two brothers, Mark Williams of Phoenix and Jason Moreland of Doniphan and four grandchildren, Caleb, Phalicity, Emma ad Adaleena.
Preceding him in death were his father, Gerald Williams; his grandparents, Elliott Wheeler, Thelma Wheeler, Wade and Margie Reeves.
Same day services will be held Tuesday, June 22, 2015 at the Fowler-Sullivan Memorial Chapel at 11:00 a.m. with funeral services beginning at 12:00 p.m. Rev. Randy Miller will be officiating. Burial will be at Bennett Cemetery in Briar, Mo.
