Sharon Sue Rippee, 69, of Poplar Bluff, Mo., passed away Sunday, November 2, 2014 at the Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center.
No more sorrow, no more pain, she's walking the streets of glory.
Mrs. Rippee was born August 27, 1945 in St. Louis, Mo. She was of the Baptist faith. A homemaker, she enjoyed fishing, gardening, cooking, yard sales, and spending time with her grandchildren.
On August 29, 1967 she married JR Rippee in Kansas City, Mo. He survives.
Also surviving include her children, Michael J. Rippee, Paulette Lovann Pickard and Sharon Nicole Rippee all of Poplar Bluff; Debbie Jackson, a dear friend and like a daughter to her; her brother, Charles Edward Alexander and wife, Grace and family of Houston, Texas; five grandchildren; Trinity Nicole Smith, Daniel Wesley Smith, Alyssa Faith Jeanette Rippee, Nikya Ann Rippee, Nevaeh Monay Rippee. One granddaughter, Jayla Rehanna Rippee, preceded her in death. Also surviving are several brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law; Bobby BJ Rippee and Charlie Rippee, both of St. Louis, Mo., Billy Rippee of Butner, N.C., Cathy Green of Springfield, Mo., and Thurma Lee Griffith of Poplar Bluff. Also surviving is a very special friend, Billie Stevens of Poplar Bluff, along with many nieces and nephews.
Her parents, Jack Malone and Dora (Plemmons) Alexander also preceded her in death.
Visitation will begin at 6 p.m. Tuesday, November 4, 2014 at Fowler-Sullivan Funeral Home, 844 Cedar Street, Poplar Bluff, Mo. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, November 5, 2014, in the funeral home chapel, with the Rev. Chuck Clark officiating. Burial will be in the Kinsey Cemetery near Harviell, Mo.
