Sherry Virginia (Smith) Willis ,61, of Broseley, Mo, passed away Wednesday, April 6, 2016 in Titusville, Florida.

Sherry was born October 13, 1954 in Poplar Bluff, Mo., to Virgil and Grace Smith. Both preceded her in death. She was a member of Ash Hill General Baptist Church, where she served as a trustee. She loved working in the church and enjoyed gardening and quilting. She retired as a Correctional Officer.

Survivors include three sisters, Judy Cash of Hillsboro, Mo., Barbara Cash (Larry) of Poplar Bluff, and Kay Trout (Darrell) of Fisk; three brothers, Jim Cornell (Anne) of Broseley, Richard Wright (Darlene) and Virgil Smith Jr. (Norma) all of Poplar Bluff; one aunt, June Allen and sister-in-law, Janie Smith; as well as six nieces, four nephews and many other family and friends.

Visitation will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, April 11, 2016 at Fowler-Sullivan Funeral Home in Poplar Bluff, followed by funeral service at 11 a.m., in the funeral home chapel. Pastor Gary Hancock will officiate services. Burial will be in Browns Chapel Cemetery.
