Terry Dwaine Lunsford, 61, of Naylor, Mo. , departed this life on March 20, 2012 in the Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center at Poplar Bluff, Missouri. He was born August 24, 1950 at Jonesboro, Arkansas to the late George W. Lunsford and Etha Cantor Lunsford.
On August 4, 1973, at Naylor, Missouri, he was married to Linda Jo Kenser. She survives.
Also surviving two sons, Joel Lunsford and wife, Julie of Naylor, Missouri and Christopher and wife, Brandi of Poplar Bluff, Missouri; six sisters, Jeanie Richardson of Jonesboro, Arkansas, Betty Minton Of Little Rock, Arkansas, Georgia Carter of Jonesboro, Arkansas, Alice Guy of Jonesboro, Arkansas, Hazel Scarborough of Jonesboro, Arkansas and Jessica Pinchback of Jonesboro, Arkansas; two brothers, Ralph Lunsford and Richard Lunsford also survive. He is also survived by four grandchildren, Bethany, Nathan, Landon, and Layne.
He was preceded in death by his parents as well as one brother, Randall Lunsford.
Terry had worked as a sales representative at Duckett Truck Center in Poplar Bluff, Missouri. He was a member of Naylor City Counsel and enjoyed hunting and fishing. He attended the Naylor Church of Christ in Naylor, Missouri.
Visitation for Terry will be March 23, 2012 starting at 6:00 p.m., with the funeral March 24, 2012 starting at 1:00 p.m. in the Fowler-Sullivan Memorial Chapel. Burial will be in the Naylor Memorial Cemetery following services. Steve Sanders will officiate.
I’m so very sorry for your loss. Terry was a good man, always ready to lend a hand to any that needed it. He will be missed. Just want you to know that you all are in my prayers, my heart goes out to you. May God bless and comfort you all.
I am sorry for your loss! My the Father of Eternity comfort you in your time of grieving. Just remember, this is only a temporary separation. I’m sure that he would not come back if he wanted to or could after seeing what’s in store for us there.
