Terry Massingham Obituary

Terry Lynn Massingham, 67, of Poplar Bluff, Mo., passed away Wednesday, May 20, 2015 at the John J. Pershing VA Medical Center in Poplar Bluff.

Mr. Massingham was born April 11, 1948 in Poplar Bluff to the late Wallace and Edna Massingham.

He served in the U.S. Navy and was employed as a bookkeeper at the John J. Pershing VA Medical Center. He loved spending time with his family and friends and especially his grandchildren. He also enjoyed hunting, wood working and gardening.

He married Janice (Pruett) Massingham in Poplar Bluff. She survives.

Other survivors include his daughter, Erica King-Crawford (Bryan); two brothers, Dan Massingham (Carol) and Mark Massingham (Paula); as well as his grandchildren, Mallory and Bailey King and Jocelyn Crawford.

Visitation will be held at 6 p.m. Friday, May 22, 2015 at Fowler-Sullivan Funeral Home in Poplar Bluff. The funeral service will begin at 2 p.m., Saturday, May 23, 2015 in the funeral home chapel with Pastor David Deem officiating. Burial with Military Rites will be the Poplar Bluff City Cemetery.

In Lieu of flowers, the family suggest memorials to be made to: UCAN, American Heart Association or John J. Pershing Medical Center.
