Tilda Meadors

Tilda Meadors,67, of Poplar Bluff, Mo., passed away on Tuesday, September 19, 2017 at the Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center.

Mrs. Meadors was born on October 17, 1949 in Corning, Ar. She worked as a homemaker and enjoyed crosswords and spending time with her kids and grandchildren. She was a member of West Point United Pentecostal Church.

On August 29, 1966 Tilda married William Bill Meadors. He survives.

Also surviving are their two children, Billy Meadors and wife Tonya of Poplar Bluff, Mo., Tracy Dutton and husband Jeff of Doniphan, Mo.; 4 sisters, Effie M. (Polly) Simmons and husband Robert of Illinois, Margarat (Caroline) Dusza and husband Steve of Doniphan, Mo., Essie Pennington of Grandin, Mo., Mary Poe of Rockford, IL.; 5 brothers, James Alvin Hinkle and wife Opal of Rockford, IL., John D. Hinkle and wife Pat of Arizona, Berry W. (Wayne) Hinkle of Poplar Bluff, Mo., James Leon Hinkle of wife Linda of Doniphan, Mo., Robert D. (Dale) Hinkle and wife Irene of Doniphan, Mo.; 6 grandchildren, Justin Meadors and wife Tiphanii of Philadelphia, PA., Amanda Davis and husband Jared of Poplar Bluff,Mo., Jennifer Gentry and husband Phillip, of Doniphan, Mo., Jacob Dutton and wife Brooklyn of St. Louis, Mo., and Jared and Jaylin Dutton both of Doniphan, Mo.; as well as 5 great-grandchildren, as well as one on the way.

Preceding her in death was her parents, James D. Hinkle and Ivory Harpole Hinkle Messenger; 1 sister, Bessie; and 2 brothers, Walter and Carl Hinkle.

Visitation will take place on Saturday, September 23, 2017 at Cornerstone Tabernacle in Poplar Bluff from 10:30 - 12:00. The funeral will immediately follow at 12:00 p.m. with Rev. Chuck Carr officiating. Burial will take place at Black Creek Cemetery in Poplar Bluff, Mo.
