Zelma (Williamson) Taylor, 96, went to be with her Jesus Sunday, April 26, 2015, in Panama City, Florida.
Zelma lived much of her life around Corning, Ark. and Naylor, Missouri, where she was a homemaker and raised eight children. During WWII she moved to California with her oldest four and first husband. In California, she married her second husband Everett Lee Taylor who was career Navy and together they raised four more children. After retirement from the Navy they moved to Fairdealing, where she lived until her husband's death March 8, 1996. Later she moved to Pensacola, Florida and Panama City, Florida to be near her sons.
She went to be with Lord with many of her children by her bedside.
Zelma is survived by her daughters, Norma Blackwell of Rosesville, California, Wanda Pucell and (George) of Costa Mesa, California, Dinann Linger (Jeff) of Tallahassee, Florida, and Karen Wertenberger (Danny) of Doniphan, Missouri and her sons, William Cavitt (Patsy), Theron Taylor and Timothy Taylor of Panama City, Florida.
Zelma was predeceased by her husband, Everett Taylor, and her oldest daughter, Lillie Mae Williams.
Zelma was Pentecostal by faith and sincerely tried to live this faith by showing love for everyone.
Visitation will be from 10:00 am until 1:00 p.m. Friday, May 1, 2015 at Fowler-Sullivan Memorial Chapel of Neelyville, Missouri. The funeral will begin at 1:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Burial will be in the Gum Cemetery near Naylor, Missouri.
